The Note20 ultra has thicker and completely different glass (Gorilla Victus) and 1500 nits brightness so just may not be able to look the same as the note20 (Gorilla 6) with 1400 nits side by side.

Well Ho Ho Ho Samsung. I got a Note 20 Ultra for Xmas. That's $1400 phone. I purchased this from Best Buy and got a few cases to try out. THE VERY FIRST TIME I put phone in the case, the little bit of stress that the phone underwent cracked the front class from center right to center bottom! The phone works fine, you can't really see the crack unless you hold the phone at a certain angle but you can feel it. It's a 1400 dollar phone and you can't put a case on it? God forbid it should every be dropped. Called Samsung customer support and of course they couldn't care less. "so sorry but we don't cover physical damage". Well, I came back to Samsung after 4 years with an LG that cost about half of what this phone costs. My LG never had a single issue, I came back to Samsung specifically for the "pen". This is obviously a quality control issue. There are hundreds of thousands of these out there and I've not read any other complaints about this issue. Yes people have broken screens but they dropped the phone or ran over it with a semi-tractor trailer. I simply put a case on my phone in front of a room full of people who all witnessed the incident. I'll be writing Samsung about this and I'll be posting this comment in EVERY SINGLE YOU TUBE reviewers video. This is completely unwarranted baloney that should NEVER be able to go unaddressed. This is an abusive mistreatment of a customer on the part of a company that is simply unwilling to acknowledge that it might actually have screwed up. BUYER BEWARE: If you're thinking of buying a NOTE 20 ULTRA don't even think about putting a standard case on it.

I returned the note 20 ultra for this reason. It was very washed out compared to my s9 plus.

Shame on samsung for making the note 20 $1000..... the back is PLASTIC! And the latency is 26ms for the spen compared to 9ms...60hz and 1080p display....they should have kept that for about $600..... I agree they wanted to make the ultra model shine but then they shouldn't have kept the regular phone $1000....they used the same logic for the galaxy tab s7 with a lower display resolution and 26ms response rate

People talk about that sleek glass look at the back but lemme tell u this, if you're like me and hate cases then be prepared for glass back phones to slide off uneven surfaces especially glossy wooden surfaces. I understand how video work so understand why u picked the worst colour for the 20 to display the plastic back. Other colours look nowhere near as bad

As someone who owns both the Galaxies, if you can find the cheaper one at a discount you're really winning because it'll be around $700 US dollars which is a steal. The Ultra is great but for some reason if you compare both phones side by side the Note 20 does look better... I've done everything to make the Ultra look better but the Note 20 just wins. Even camera wise there's not much of a difference. Both are incredibly fast phones but the 120 HZ refresh rate does make a difference if you're into the whole smooth scrolling animation. Plus the back does feel different compared to the regular Note 20 back.

Samsung note 20 ultra is amazing but sucks that samsung are so cheapminded selling this phone with Same exynos chipset but in America they using the latest snapdragon 865 plus chipset but using the same s20 exynos chip on the note 20 ultra and plus the chipset of s20 was inferior to s20 snapdragon making the gap even wider and sell phone more expensive in some country than America for smomething that inferior to the customers meanwhile They using snapdragon in south korea because they no it sucks exynos is slower and hotter and drain battery faster and lower quality photos than snapdragon 😡😡😡😡 RIP SAMSUNG

I wish you would have truly compared both phones. I'd have liked to see the video of the cheaper version. And also it seemed like you only wanted to talk about the Ultra features. I had to watch the whole video even to compare the lift on the cameras between the two because you refused to turn the other one over and show it. Unfortunately that made this video pretty unhelpful in comparing which one would work for me personally.

The display thing happened with my friend's new S20 he bought a week ago. I have a 4 year old MI and the display looks better on my phone than it does on his S20. I wanted to buy that phone so was checking it out but finally deciding to ditch it for the iPhone 11. The display was a total disappointment. It didn't go half as bright as my MI does, and it didn't have any good colors. I think there is something seriously wrong with the consistency of good displays on the Samsung. I have had this experience before with the S10 and the Note 10 line up too. It's like how android has always implemented half baked tech in the name of innovation. I'm a photographer and the Display is a big thing for me and specs sheet are only for idiots imo. The Display on the iPhone may not be as good as the S20 (a good S20) on paper but at least it's not half baked stuff and is still pretty amazing. N for some reason, I feel photos look much more pleasing on a LCD display than they do on a LED or OLED display because of how the human eyes never really see true black or white in reality like the LCD screens but OLED is pushing things to the mathematical Black and White which is unnatural cuz we don't see that way. But that's just my thoughts. However, samsung really has issues with consistency of their displays.

The worst phone I've ever owned is the note 20 plus. It had two warranty repairs and now that it's " fixed " it keeps trying to be helpful like with how the power button isn't the power button or how the top half of the screen doesn't respond to the stylus as well as the bottom half or that the email client randomly empties addresses or the phone goes into " power saving " and I don't get notifications from customers and end up leaving people 4 hours in the dump because of my £1000 "Helpful" personal organiser/phone. I went back to a note 9 and a blackberry, the note 20 is just awful.

I just got and held the Galaxy Note20, it feels more premium than the Note20 Ultra in my opinion, your only saying that because it has plastic, it does feel premium, theres no air gap; if the Galaxy Note20 had 120hz I wouldnt need to double think that, but it feels really good.
